Roadpatch

Coldmac Roadpatch is a cost effective permanent solution of eliminating potholes on carriageways and footpaths. It is designed to repair potholes to depths up to 50mm. Any depth above 50mm would be subject to a double application to ensure that the product sets firmly.

Coldmac Roadpatch is guaranteed for up to one year.

The process is similar to Micro Asphalt. It incorporates a K-360 polymer modified bitumen emulsion with high PSV aggregate and fibers that is prepared and mixed on site. This is then used to fill the defected area, which binds itself to the surrounding edges and solidifies normally within 20 - 45 minutes depending on temperature.

When the void has been filled and has set, we then apply an application of Micro Asphalt seal the area to prevent further ingress of water which can cause the surface to fret or crack. The end result is aesthetically pleasing due to the preparatory work beforehand, using tape to leave the area in square or rectangular finish.
